Music as a backdrop to creating art

For as long as I can remember, I've always had music playing in the background of my life. First it was classical in the early years with my parents. Then when I was older I got into all kinds of music, from rock and jazz to new age. Let's put it this way, I listened to just about anything other than rap, Reggae and country & western. My tastes haven't really changed all that much. Today I still like classical, ethnic, easy listening and even the oldies from the 70s. I've also taken up Spanish guitar as a hobby and am really enjoying it. Really like Jesse Cook's work: http://www.jessecook.com/music/ And recently came across Canadian guitarist Johannes Linstead: http://johanneslinstead.com/main/ Music certainly does play a role in providing inspiration for the paintings and steel sculpture I create.
